She walks home shes afraid to walk alone she holds her house key between her knuckles her fist tightens this world is brutal she afraid someones going to get in her way it is dangerous to be out this late her fist keeps a tight grip She keeps looking behind her making sure shes okay This is the world we live in are you proud of this Little girls even know this this happens every day This world is not okay maybe not all people do this but most of them do it should be none But what do I know We wont back down We are losing our rights because of those around us This is not alright times going backwards We didnt fight for these rights for anyone to take them away We will keep fighting we wont back away
